When you are planning to build out a greenhouse or warehouse space, you need to make sure that every dollar and every square foot counts. At Bright Agrotech, we believe that farmers like you are changing the face of our local food system, and like you we are dedicated to low cost, common sense solutions that don’t compromise quality We have seen dozens of design configurations ranging from the low tech backyard greenhouse all the way to fully automated systems run with an iPhone app. Regardless of the size of an operation, our design goals remain the same: To provide the simplest solution possible while maximizing production. This means that when you go with ZipGrow, you are getting all the production with no complicated “fluff”. This makes ZipGrow flexible; ZipGrow can be used as a building block for any type of system design you can think of. (If you have an idea for a design that uses a custom length tower (> 7 feet), please let us know and we will see what we can do). Practical technology for today’s resource-smart farmers. For many farmers, building a greenhouse is a big step.

There are many important things to consider from your zoning to your environmental and pest controls. One thing you do not want to overlook is your use of resources.

Think about it. If you’re paying to heat or cool a volumetric greenhouse, you should be growing in that unused volumetric space. ZipGrow Towers allow greenhouse growers to maximize their greenhouse space with volumetric production. Whether you’re brand new to soil-less growing or you’ve been growing hydroponically for years, ZipGrow Vertical Farming Towers can empower you to grow more in your space and make more money as a farmer

What is Hydroponics?

Hydroponics is the production of crops without soil. Unlike aquaponics, plain hydroponics does not include fish and is much simpler to maintain and much more predictable.

What is Aquaponics?

Aquaponics is hydroponics with a fish element. In aquaponics, the fish waste provides most of the nutrients that the plants need, and the amount of supplemental nutrients is much lower.

This means that your system is more sustainable than a hydroponics system.

Types of System Set-Up

When setting up your system, you have two main choices in arrangement. A massed configuration is most efficient if you are working with a specific square feet area or a gardening plot. Using ZipGrow towers in a massed configuration will result in a high yield per square foot.
