Dr. Richard Smart visits Spain to see how Neovid works

On April 14 ,2015 Richard Smart visited Spain to see how the system for canopy management, Neovid works.

This is a translation of part of the interview that was made from Aragón television.

Dr. Richard Smart also known as the Vine Doctor is passionate about Garnacha. The Australian came this morning to the Campo de Borja to see first-hand how the vine training system Neovid works. Neovid system has already won various awards.

The garnacha from Campo De Borja has increased 15 % since January they have sold 6,500,000 bottles of wine. A Denomination of Origin from Spain that received the visit from Richard Smart, a very knowledgeable viticulturist. He thinks that that it is a good time to promote the Garnacha.

He is called the Flying Vine Doctor, he has spent most of his years traveling the world to see vineyards and studying them to make them better. He is visiting the Campo de Borja to see first-hand how the vine training system Neovid works. He has said that he will recommend the system wherever he goes in the world. He also adds some duties and insists that good wine it’s made in the vineyards and that it would be good to modernize some techniques.
